BENEFIT- SMITH CENTER IN VEGAS
Show Postponed Until Further Notice Due to Unforeseen Circumstances…
Stay tuned and thank you,
Steven Alan Green
President The Laughter Foundation
On or about November 1st of this year, I will be pedaling my bicycle, starting in Los Angeles and going 305 miles through the Mojave Desert to Las Vegas, where on Novemeber 18th, I will produce a big charity gala for The Laughter Foundation. The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is a beautiful performance palace. The Laughter Foundation Benefit will take place at the Smith Center’s Reynolds Hall, an elegant 2,000-seat auditorium.
The purpose of the bike run and the benefit is three-fold:
A) To raise awareness for the need for Health Care for Comedians
B) To replenish The Heckler Fund, TLF’s emergency grant program for comedians in trouble.
C) COMEC: The Comedy Museum Exploratory Committee. To look into how to build a world-class museum dedicated to the study and exhibition of the art, history and science of Comedy. This is eventually a $25million project. Target city is San Francisco.
